The Book
Yes No Maybe So will be released February 4, 2020.
Why did we pick this book?
We were immediately hooked by the premise. We’re both politically active and love that Yes No Maybe So is about volunteering for your local candidate. We hope this book inspires political activism from our fellow Millennials and for the newly coming of age Gen Z.
What is the book about?
Jamie Goldberg is excited to volunteer for his state senator…as long as it’s behind the scenes. Maya Rehman is struggling right now with both family and friend drama. Her mother thinks this can easily be fixed by canvassing for a local politician. It’s not exactly an easy job, but Jamie and Maya are paired to go to door to door for their candidate. But maybe, they’ll fall in love along the way. Albertalli and Saeed pitch this as a book about activism and cross-cultural romance.
What other YA book have the authors written?
Becky Albertalli is the best-selling author of Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, Leah on the Off Beat and the Upside of Unrequited. Aisha Saeed wrote A Thousand Beginnings and Endings.
Not a millennial but I think I’d like this book.
