We created a list of the books we plan to read in June. We can’t wait to start these amazing new books and tell you our thoughts! Tell us what you plan to read in June and if you’ll be reading any of our picks. We’re always looking for recommendations.
1. A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins

We absolutely cannot wait to read the prequel to The Hunger Games trilogy. We’re wondering if President Snow has any redeeming qualities… A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is set during the 10th Hunger Games.
2. The Sullivan Sisters by Kathryn Ormsbee

We love a good thriller/mystery and creepy settings. The Sullivan Sisters is about three sisters who received a letter informing them of their uncle’s death and how they have an unexpected inheritance. The leads the sisters to uninhabited mansion on the coast.
3. Break the Fall by Jennifer Iacopelli

We’ve talked about Break the Fall before on our blog, and June is the month we hope to finally read it. We love gymnastics and this story about an Olympic hopeful overcoming an injury to make the U.S. team gives us all the feels.
4. The Upside or Falling by Alex Light

The Upside of Falling has been on our TBR list for a while and June is the month we finally conquer it! We’re a sucker for a YA contemporary romance and it’s been a hot minute since we’ve read one. Can’t wait to dive in!
5. Influence by Sara Shepard and Lilia Buckingham

Okay, so we know this book comes out June 30th, but it’s still technically released in June and we plan on getting our hands on it the day it comes out. This is one of our most anticipated books of 2020! Plus, Shepard’s books are always great! Pick this one up if you’ve read Pretty Little Liars, The Perfectionists or The Amateurs.
I plan on reading ‘The Upside or Falling’. June looks like it’ll be a good book month. Happy Reading!

I’m so excited about the Hunger Games prequil. I was going to order it but was sent free audible credits so I’ve got the audio book instead. I just need to finish another book I’m reading first.

It’s so interesting seeing Snow as a teenager. We’re curious how Collins will end the book.

Some interesting looking books on this list! I’ve heard such polarising things about The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes so I’m intrigued to see what you guys think when you read it. I had no idea Sara Shepherd was releasing a new book, that’s exciting! Thanks for sharing x

We were nervous to read it because of how much we loved The Hunger Games when release. But, we wanted to keep an open mind and get more background information.
