Why did we pick this book?
We were immediately intrigued when we found out that the author is Sarah Watson, the creator of The Bold Type, one of our favorite TV shows. Also, we’re very passionate about political participation so the idea that one of the four MCs would become president made us so excited. What is this book about?
Ava, CJ, Jordan and Martha have been best friends since they were little kids. Now their seniors in high school making big decisions about their future. One of them is destined to become the president, but which one will it be? Could it be Ava the artist, CJ the overachiever, Jordan the journalist or Martha, the girl who overcame many obstacles to get to reach her dreams. This book is about friendship and achieving you goals after high school.
