Before we dive into today’s post, we have an exciting announcement. Today is our two year blogging anniversary! We love the community we’ve created here, so thank you for reading and following along with us. We’re excited to see our community continue for years to come! Two years ago we started this blog for fun and we’re so happy with what we’ve accomplished since.
Okay, on with our regular scheduled programming.

It’s the finale of her exchange in London, and Mallory’s last day at Kensington School didn’t go as planned. Instead of saying goodbye to her friends and planning to go long-distance with Harry, she gets dumped and ends up sharing a revenge kiss with Noah in the lunch room. All Mallory wants to do is get out of London, but her parents have other plans.
Mallory finds herself cooped up in a swanky hotel and returns to Kensington with her head down. Forced to come to terms with her actions, she sets out to mend her relationships with the Boys Club and sort out her feelings for Harry and Noah. How’s a girl supposed to choose between two British boys?
First of all, we didn’t know where the hell this book would go after the jaw dropping ending to book three. Needless to say, we loved the direction of The Key and are so happy Mallory is staying in London. We thought maybe she would return to NYC and there would be a lot of pining, but this was the better outcome.
We admit this book was full of angst, but it was the best kind of angst that left us dying for more. This book also solidified our love for Noah Williams. He is a king and if Mallory doesn’t end up with him, we will riot. Noah stole our hearts in this book and we wanted to shake some sense into him and Mallory. They need to tell each other how they feel! Team Noah forever. The ending chapter with them was *chef’s kiss*! We also got to meet Noah’s sister, Mia, who is awesome and a total badass. She is very much the anti-Noah.
Mohammad continued to be the highlight of the book with his humor and supportive nature. Despite Mallory’s actions, he always had her back. We love him with Naomi, so we’re excited to see the player has finally met his match.
Olivia was the surprise of the book for us. Her character has developed tremendously since the first book, and we actually grew to like her. She ended up being a rock for Mallory and we enjoyed her added sarcastic commentary.
As for Harry, he was was as cheeky as ever. Harry is adorable and clearly is going through a lot, but we don’t know if he is the best fit for Mal. Mallory needs stability and Harry is a hot ass (beautiful) mess. Regardless, we just want to give him a gigantic hug because he deserves the best.
While not a lot happened in this book (it took place over the course of the week after The Incident), we thought the plot was necessary for advancing Mallory’s relationships. We cannot wait to see where this story goes in London Prep book five. We need more unsupervised British teens ASAP! If you haven’t yet, check out our review of the first three books here.

Great review, and happy blogversary! I added this series to my TBR after reading your previous review on the first three books. It sounds like book 4 certainly lived up to expectations as well, so I can’t wait to start reading this!

I’m a big fan of Jillian Dodd, but I haven’t tried this series yet by her. Adding it to my list – it sounds fun and light enough to be perfect this summer!

The London Prep sounds like an interesting read, especially with the different personalities of the characters. It is always a bummer when a character go through a ton of different things, but I guess that’s how they build their own character. Glad you enjoyed the read!

I haven’t read Book 1, but I’ll see about picking it up. Sticking with it through Book 4 makes me think that the series starts strong. Thanks for the review.

I love books where there’s two love interests and as a reader to grow to love one so much you feel like you’re going to riot if they don’t end up together. I’ve not read any books in this series but it sounds right up my alley. Thanks for sharing, and happy second blog anniversary x
