What is this book about?

In Shanghai in 1926, the city is ruled by two rival gangs. The two rival gangs are in a blood feud, putting Juliette Cai in the middle. But something else is wrong in the city and when bodies start showing up, the two gangs must work together before they all lose.

  1. I know they say never to ‘judge a book by its cover’ but that cover instantly had me intrigued and the description even more so. I will definitely be checking this out.

  2. I’ve been meaning to read this one for so long too! I just love the premise of a romeo and juliet retelling set in the 1920s AND set in Shanghai like what’s not to love! Hope you enjoy!
