Why did we pick this book?
It’s November, so we traded our Halloween horror for holiday romance. Since Bards Alley doesn’t do December meetings, we wanted to make sure we had a cute winter read early. We read the description for this YA cotemporary romance set in a town obsessed with Christmas and knew it would be perfect for a discussion. What is this book about?
Lila Castro is an anonymous book blogger and works at the Bookworm Inn to earn money for college. She loves her job, especially during the holiday season because one of the best Christmas movies of all time is set at and around the Inn. Too bad this season will be different when the Inn’s owner’s nephew, Teddy Veracruz, is working with her during winter break.
When Lila and Teddy accidently switch phones one day, They learn a lot about each other. Maybe the two will realize that they don’t find the other too be as bad as they thought. And maybe, just maybe, Lila will find her perfect holiday romance at the Inn, just like in her favorite movie.

This sounds like the perfect cute kind of book to curl up with during the colder months. I really like the sound of this – it always intrigues me when it’s books about book bloggers (although sometimes it annoys me too!). Thanks for the recommendation.
