Happy spring everyone! We’re celebrating the new season with a book haul. We’re super excited to share our recent buys with you and let us know in the comments if you’ve read any of these books.
1. Zodiac Academy: The Awakening as Told by the Boys by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

We reviewed Zodiac Academy: The Awakening back in February and we recently purchased a different version, which is told from perspectives of The Celestial Heirs instead of the Vega twins. We’re excited to learn more about Darius, Caleb, Max and Seth.
2. Ex-Mas by Kate Brian

Ex-Mas has been on our TBR for a while. Brain is known for her best-selling Private series and Megan Meade’s Guide to Dating the McGowan Boys. While the holiday season is over, we’re excited to read this romance about two exes coming together to rescue their brothers. It promises to be a hilarious YA contemporary.
3. Zodiac Academy 6: Fated Throne by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

While we’re only on Zodiac Academy 4: Shadow Princess, we knew we had to get evert book available. We can’t wait to share our thoughts on the rest of the series. BTW, we love the purple Aquarius cover for Zodiac Academy 6: Fated Throne.
4. Zodiac Academy 7: Heartless Sky by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

Just like we said, we can’t wait to read the rest of this series, including Zodiac Academy 7: Heartless Sky. Plus, the Scorpio cover is for one of our faves: Geraldine Grus. If Peckham and Valenti are reading this, can book 8 be a Virgo cover?
5. I Must Betray You by Ruta Sepetys

It’s been a while since we’ve read YA historical fiction and we love that I Must Betray You is set in Romania in 1989. For those who don’t know, communism was starting to fall in Eastern Europe. We’re excited to learn more about the living conditions in Romania at the time.
6. Technically, You Started It by Lana Wood Johnson

Okay, so we’ve actually read Technically, You Started It before. But we had to get it when we saw a good deal. This YA contemporary is super hilarious and we want to read it again and again.
7. How to Ruin Your Boyfriend’s Reputation by Simone Elkeles

How to Ruin Your Boyfriend’s Reputation is the last book in the How to Ruin series. We’ll post our full thoughts on the series sometime soon. It’s about Amy Nelson-Barak, a girl learning about her Israeli heritage who is building a closer relationship to her family. Amy can be spoiled, but she has a great heart and her antics are very entertaining.
What a great book haul for March! I’m excited to read your review for I Must Betray You! Happy reading!
