Kit Sutherland has spent the last year and half living a lie. Nobody knows her real name or her true identity. Luckily, her former friend gave her a chance at a new life and World War II provided her a job at Arlington Hall as a codebreaker.

Arlington Hall gave Kit her dream life, especially compared to how she grew up in rural West Virginia. With the military, she’s appreciated for her intellect and he ability to help the war effort. Everything in her life was going perfectly, until her roommate Dottie Crockford didn’t come home one night.

Review: They’re Watching You by Chelsea Ichaso

It’s been two weeks since Polly St. James went missing. But Maren Montgomery is the only one that cares. You see, Polly left a note on her dorm room desk stating that she ran away and that she needed some alone time because the pressure of attending an elite academy was getting to her. The letter was written in Polly’s handwriting and she had a history of running away.

But Maren doesn’t believe the story. Something feels off about Polly’s disappearance, especially since the day she went missing, she was supposed to meet Maren and confess something. Since Polly’s parents, the school administration and the police have given up on finding Polly, Maren is ready to launch her own investigation.

Finally, seven months after reading Zodiac Academy 7: Heartless Sky, we’ve finished Zodiac Academy 8: Sorrow and Starlight. The book starts right where the previous left us off, at the end of a huge battle between Lionel Acrux’s loyalists and the resistance.

Everything has changed for the Vega twins. With Darcy Vega cursed by Lavinia, Darcy has no choice but to leave the resistance, since she’s a danger to everyone she loves. Tory Vega is trying to recover from the worst day of her life, while also trying to rebuild her troops.

Review: Dark Fae by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

Five years before the events of the Zodiac Academy series, a different group of Fae at Aurora Academy have a story to tell. Elise Callisto is out for vengeance. After her brother Gareth Tempa was murdered by one of the four kings of Aurora Academy, Elise is determined to get her revenge. The only problem is that Aurora Academy has four kings: Gabriel Nox, Leon Night, Dante Oscura and Ryder Draconis.

These four guys rule the school and professors almost let them get away with anything. But getting near them could be dangerous, especially Dante and Ryder, who are going to become leaders of waring gangs upon graduation. Nothing is safe about this school and Elise has to accept that risk if she’s ever going to get answers.

Review: Begin Again by Emma Lord

After spending her first semester at a community college, Andie Rose is ecstatic to transfer to Blue Ridge State. Both of Andie’s parents attended Blue Ridge State, so she can’t wait to be part of the family tradition.

Andie has her whole future mapped out. She’s going to graduate with a degree is psychology, become a therapist and eventually become credible enough to be a self-help icon. Also, she plans on spending forever with her high school sweetheart, Connor. It doesn’t matter that they took time off from their relationship last semester, now that they’re at the same school, everything can be perfect.
