When it comes to picking a college, the choice can be difficult. There are literally thousands of options in the United States and even more if you’re open to traveling to another country.
We created a list of the colleges chosen by characters from YA books. Some of these books are set in high school and others are set at college. Most of the colleges are in the United States, with a couple in the United Kingdom.

1. The Last Book I Gave Up On
More Than Just a Pretty Face was one of our only DNFs of 2021. We couldn’t get into it at all!
It takes two people to cheat. That seems pretty obvious, yet it seems that the girl always takes the blame. Whether the girl actually takes part in the cheating or is “blamed” for “forcing” her boyfriend to cheat, she tends to take the brunt of the criticism.
We went through our shelves to find how many books that we’ve read that included cheating as a trope in love triangles and analyzed how the author portrayed the characters.

1. 99 Days of Katie Cotugno
99 Days is one of the most controversial books in the YA contemporary genre. Everyone on Goodreads seems to have a strong opinion on this book. It’s not a great book per se, but we like a lot of aspects about it.
We love when young adult books have romance. It doesn’t matter if it’s a fantasy, thriller, mystery or contemporary. Bring us the romance and the swoonworthy book boyfriends. Below you’ll find some of our favorite guys in YA!
Unfortunately, we haven’t found guys for the letter I, U, V and Y. If you can think of YA guys whose names start with any of these four letters let us know in the comments.
A. Ash, Killing November by Adriana Mather
We loved Ash in Killing Novemberand Hunting November. He’s sweet, a total badass and always there for November. The two don’t have the easiest time since someone is always out to get them, but they protect each other no matter what. We loved Ash’s quick wit and ability to read people. He’s the perfect YA book boyfriend for a thriller.
One thing we miss right now is travel. We’re both travel addicts and can’t wait to explore the world. Do you want to travel right now but can’t? We can help with book recommendations. 1. Anna and The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Anna Oliphant is forced to leave Atlanta and spend her senior year of high school at a boarding school, the School of America in Paris (SOAP). At first she hates the idea of leaving her mom and brother, her best friend, and her crush (and hopefully future boyfriend.)
Upon arriving at SOAP, she quickly joins a group of friends that helps her explore the City of Lights and get over her fear of living in a foreign country. Almost instantly, Anna develops feelings for a member of the friend group, the charismatic, gorgeous (and very taken) Étienne St. Clair.
