Review: Begin Again by Emma Lord

*We received this book in exchange for an honest review.*

After spending her first semester at a community college, Andie Rose is ecstatic to transfer to Blue Ridge State. Both of Andie’s parents attended Blue Ridge State, so she can’t wait to be part of the family tradition.

Andie has her whole future mapped out. She’s going to graduate with a degree is psychology, become a therapist and eventually become credible enough to be a self-help icon. Also, she plans on spending forever with her high school sweetheart, Connor. It doesn’t matter that they took time off from their relationship last semester, now that they’re at the same school, everything can be perfect.

We’ve read books by Lynn Painter and Emma Lord before, but were also excited to read books from three new authors. Have you read any of these ARCs yet? Let us know in the comments.

1. Talk Santa to Me by Linda Urban

Talk Santa to Me promises to be a hilarious and adorable romcom full of Christmas cheer. The description gave us Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer meets a Hallmark movie vibes. Thanksgiving Book Tag

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Feel free to do this tag and let us know your answers! We found it through Read by Tiffany.

1. Bread: What book is purely fluff and has no real plot line?

Maybe This Time by Kasie West. The book had no real plot in our opinion. We usually love West’s writing, but we couldn’t support Sophie and Andrew’s budding romance. Not much happened in the span of a year, where Sophie and Andrew spend all holidays together. While the premise had potential, the book fell flat.
