Jenn Bennett’s YA Books Ranked

If you read our blog you know that we love Jenn Bennett’s YA books. Five out of six are contemporary romance, while one is a historical fantasy. We plan to update this list when Bennett releases more books. The next one, Always Jane, will be released in 2021.

1. The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare

Our readers know that we love The Infernal Devices— we’ve gushed about it numerous times on our blog…but that won’t stop us from fangirling again with you all right now. This Shadowhunter series takes place in Victorian London. The year is 1878 and Tessa Gray enters London’s seedy supernatural underworld in search of her missing brother.

Along the way, she stumbles upon two Shadowhunters, Will Herondale and Jem Carstairs, who may be the key to finding her brother and unlocking the secret behind her strange supernatural ability.

1. Serpent and Dove by Shelby Mahurin

We’ve raved about this book since we read it for our monthly book club. For more info, check out our full review here. Serpent and Dove has it all: romance, action, magic, and witty banter. Lou is a witch who has fled her coven, forced to become a thief to survive. After a run in with a witch hunter named Reid, Lou’s life changes forever. As the two grow closer, she has to deal with the demons from her past before they ruin her relationship.

After all of the drama from the RMS Etruria, Audrey Rose and Thomas are ready to rekindle their romance. In fact, Audrey Rose’s dad and aunt, plus Thomas’s sister are on the way to New York so Thomas can officially ask Audrey Rose to marry him.
