Zodiac Book Tag

We found this tag on My Book World and knew we wanted to participate! The prompts are really fun and different from anything we’ve done on the blog before. Even though it doesn’t directly deal with the Zodiac Academy series, we’re celebrating less than a month until the book eight release with this tag. Want to learn more about one of our favorite book series? Check out our Complete Guide to the Zodiac Academy Series.

Do you like the prompt for your Zodiac sign? Let us know in the comments!

*We received this book in exchange for an honest review.*

An accident two years ago left Jane Marlow with Aphasia, a condition that sometimes makes it difficult to communicate. Jane spent that summer at Lake Condor and hasn’t been back since. The ABCs of YA Book Boyfriends

We love when young adult books have romance. It doesn’t matter if it’s a fantasy, thriller, mystery or contemporary. Bring us the romance and the swoonworthy book boyfriends. Below you’ll find some of our favorite guys in YA!

Unfortunately, we haven’t found guys for the letter I, U, V and Y. If you can think of YA guys whose names start with any of these four letters let us know in the comments.

A. Ash, Killing November by Adriana Mather

We loved Ash in Killing November and Hunting November. He’s sweet, a total badass and always there for November. The two don’t have the easiest time since someone is always out to get them, but they protect each other no matter what. We loved Ash’s quick wit and ability to read people. He’s the perfect YA book boyfriend for a thriller.

We’ve seen other bloggers participate in this tag and we thought it looked fun! In this tag we share some of our favorites, least favorites and other opinions.

1. How Many Books are Too Many Books in a Series?

Book Review: The Mortal Instruments – Confessions of a Book Geek

For the most part, we usually stick with trilogies for series. However, it depends. A few of our favorite series are 4+ books, including The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare and Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard. As long as we still like the story, we’ll keep reading.

YA Books Set in New England

So many of our favorite books are set in New England. The six states (Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont and New Hampshire) are the perfect setting for a murder mystery or a contemporary romance. What are your favorite books set in New England? Let us know in the comments.

Two Can Keep A Secret is a spooky YA mystery set in Vermont. When Ellery and Ezra move from LA to a small town in Vermont, unsolved murders seem to be the norm…some of which have to do with the amusement park they started working at. This mystery will give you major fall vibes and the full small town New England experience.

Caymen couldn’t stand Xander the first time she met him. In her mind, every rich person was trouble. Xander keeps showing up and convincing Caymen to spend time with him. The two had more in common than they thought…they both felt their parents dictate their future careers. That’s when they created career days. They’d each plan a day to help the other to decide what to do with their lives. The chemistry could not be denied in West’s first contemporary YA. Xander charmed us instantly and we loved Caymen’s dry sense of humor. The two may be stubborn, but they brought out the best in each other. The Distance Between Us is one of our favorite books from West.
