2021 Blog and Reading Summary

It’s almost 2022, which means it’s time for our yearly summary post. We’ve had a great reading year and we’ve been lucky to share these books with all of you. Our blog views in 2021 almost doubled from 2020, so thank you to everyone who has visited our website in the last year.

Review: Twin River High series by Lynn Rush and Kelly Anne Blount

We loved In The Penalty Box when we read it earlier this year and became excited that Rush and Blount were releasing three companion books around the same time.

McKenna Storm and Jace Rovers couldn’t be more different. In fact, despite knowing each other since Kindergarten, the two haven’t spoken in years. One bump in the hallway changed their whole trajectory, leading to McKenna covering for Jace. Jace writes a fantasy romance book online and is terrified of anyone finding out.

Book Review: The Mortal Instruments – Confessions of a Book Geek

For the most part, we usually stick with trilogies for series. However, it depends. A few of our favorite series are 4+ books, including The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare and Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard. As long as we still like the story, we’ll keep reading.

We received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Willow doesn’t want to be home in Wisconsin. She should be in Colorado training for Nationals and then the Olympics. One injury could ruin her entire figure skating career and she hasn’t made the PT progress she was hoping for.
