The ABCs of YA Book Boyfriends

We love when young adult books have romance. It doesn’t matter if it’s a fantasy, thriller, mystery or contemporary. Bring us the romance and the swoonworthy book boyfriends. Below you’ll find some of our favorite guys in YA!

Unfortunately, we haven’t found guys for the letter I, U, V and Y. If you can think of YA guys whose names start with any of these four letters let us know in the comments.

A. Ash, Killing November by Adriana Mather

We loved Ash in Killing November and Hunting November. He’s sweet, a total badass and always there for November. The two don’t have the easiest time since someone is always out to get them, but they protect each other no matter what. We loved Ash’s quick wit and ability to read people. He’s the perfect YA book boyfriend for a thriller.

Jillian Dodd (Author of That Boy)

1. When did you first realize that you wanted to be a writer?

I’ve always loved creating thing—crafts, stories, songs, artwork, interior design, and clothing. I was an avid reader but didn’t decide to write until I had a story that kept invading my dreams. I needed to know the rest of their story, which led me to write my first book, That Boy.

Caymen couldn’t stand Xander the first time she met him. In her mind, every rich person was trouble. Xander keeps showing up and convincing Caymen to spend time with him. The two had more in common than they thought…they both felt their parents dictate their future careers. That’s when they created career days. They’d each plan a day to help the other to decide what to do with their lives. The chemistry could not be denied in West’s first contemporary YA. Xander charmed us instantly and we loved Caymen’s dry sense of humor. The two may be stubborn, but they brought out the best in each other. The Distance Between Us is one of our favorite books from West.

Review: London Prep series by Jillian Dodd

We came across this series on Instagram and knew we had to read it. It literally screamed YA Netflix show and gave us Gossip Girl vibes…but British. We love the series’ Instagram. It’s got killer promotional pics and we love seeing the actors in their characters. It helped us visualize the characters and made us love them even more. Now, onto the review!

London Prep 1: The Exchange

London Prep (London Prep, #1) by Jillian Dodd

Mallory James is beyond pissed at her parents when they drop a bombshell on her: she’s being sent to London for a three week exchange during her junior year. Mallory’s been to London already– it’s stuffy, rainy, and boring. What more is there to see? Her parents don’t seem to grasp what an utter nightmare this will be for Mallory’s perfect New York lifestyle. When her parents refuse to budge, she decides that if she’s going to be stuck across the Pond for three weeks, she may as well have fun and let loose.
