Review: Again, But Better By Christine Riccio

Image result for again, but better

This month’s book club pick was Again, but Better by booktuber and fellow YA lover, Christine Riccio. This is her debut book.

Again, but Better follows 20 year old Shane Primaveri on her study abroad semester in London, England circa 2011. Her college life had been one word, boring. She may have perfect grades, but she spent every weekend at home with her parents.

That’s why Shane’s semester abroad had to be perfect: she was going to have her first kiss, be more outgoing/meet new friends, and do an amazing job at her writing internship— if only things were that easy!

The Book

Our pick for May 2019 is Again, But Better by Christine Riccio, which released on May 7, 2019.

Why did we pick this book?

We love YA books set in college and jump at the chance to read them! The plot of Again, but Better captured our attention with it’s focus on travel, romance and magical realism. And it’s set during a study abroad program? Sign us up!

Also, Claire’s favorite city is London, so we couldn’t wait to travel to this cosmopolitan city with Shane Primaveri. Give us all the amazing travel descriptions and cultural references.
