Maddie’s childhood was perfect. As the daughter a U.S. Secret Service Agent, Maddie spent a lot of time at the White House. Her best friend happened to be the U.S. President’s son.
After a failed kidnapping attempt of the first lady by a Russian organization, leaving Maddie’s dad shot in the process, he packs them up and moves to Alaska. He retires from the service and wants to keep Maddie safe from dangerous criminals.

In this fantasy book, all characters are descendants of Greek Gods and Goddesses. Avery is about to turn 18, which means it’s time for the Gathering, where she is supposed to find her soulmate. One problem: Avery doesn’t want a soulmate, she wants to escape.
We requested an ARC of Entwined on Netgallery because of the Greek mythology aspect! We can’t wait to finish this one.

The Cousins by Karen McManus. This is the highest rated out of books already out and/or to be released in 2020. We didn’t consider any that will be published after 2021. This book is a mystery about three cousins who spend the summer with a grandmother they hardly know. McManus’s books are full of twists and turns! We cannot wait for December!
