Finley Brown returned to her hometown of Christmas, Oklahoma for the holidays. Too bad everything has changed since she left for boarding school in Connecticut. First, her best friend is dating her ex-boyfriend. Second, her parents separated, causing her mom to spend the holidays in Missouri. Finally, her former nemesis now works at her grandmother’s inn.
It’s finally autumn, which means it’s time to go over our TBR list for the season. This list doesn’t include the YA books on our NetGalley shelf, that we shared with all of you last week. There are so many recent and upcoming releases that we can’t wait to start reading. Spoiler alert: our October and November book club picks might be on this list.
Have you read any of our autumn book picks? Let us know in the comments and happy reading!
It’s after the holiday season and we’re getting back to normal life. At least, I have a lot of great books to start reading. I love getting books for Christmas and then curling up with one in front of the tree. I was lucky that I got nine books from family and friends. Did you get or give any books this year? Let us know in the comments.
1. Barcelona and Catalonia
While not a YA book, I absolutely love to travel. I can’t wait to one day get to Barcelona, Spain!
‘Tis the season! We love this time of a year and we’re also a sucker for a cute holiday romance. Now that Thanksgiving is officially over, it’s time to get into the holiday spirit. We put together a list of 15 books to help you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, the Winter Solstice and New Year’s Eve.
Whatever you celebrate, have a great holiday season filled with fun, family, friends and books! Now excuse us while we go grab a cozy blanket, get a cup of hot chocolate and dive into some holiday reads.
1. Pretty Little Secrets by Sara Shepard
Pretty Little Secrets is a companion book to Pretty Little Liars. It’s Winter in Rosewood, Pennsylvania and each girl has a crazy holiday season. Hanna’s Hanukkah isn’t off to a good start, Aria’s Winter Solstice leads to a shocking discovery, Emily’s Christmas plans lead to an arrest and Spencer gets into a New Year’s Eve competition. We love this hilarious and dramatic addition to one of our favorite series.
