Why did we pick this book?

One of everyone’s favorite book club picks from 2021 was Jessica Goodman’s They’ll Never Catch Us. When we found out about The Counselors, we knew it would be perfect for June. This YA Thriller is set at an elite summer camp the summer before starting college. The setting and summer vibes are perfect to get us ready for the warm weather. 1. Entwined by AJ Rosen

In this fantasy book, all characters are descendants of Greek Gods and Goddesses. Avery is about to turn 18, which means it’s time for the Gathering, where she is supposed to find her soulmate. One problem: Avery doesn’t want a soulmate, she wants to escape.

We requested an ARC of Entwined on Netgallery because of the Greek mythology aspect! We can’t wait to finish this one.
