Caymen couldn’t stand Xander the first time she met him. In her mind, every rich person was trouble. Xander keeps showing up and convincing Caymen to spend time with him. They’d each plan a day to help the other to decide what to do with their lives. The chemistry could not be denied in West’s first contemporary YA. Xander charmed us instantly and we loved Caymen’s dry sense of humor. The two may be stubborn, but they brought out the best in each other. The Distance Between Us is one of our favorite books from West.
